It is a busy day today. Tomorrow my wife and I fly out to San Francisco for the JavaOne Conference. I was fortunate to be invited to participate in a session and I arranged for the two schools I teach at to pay for the trip. The bags are just about packed and I have the boarding pass. We are just waiting for our house sitters to arrive. I do have one last class to teach this evening.
Earlier today I received a package from China. It was my Kano Raspberry Pi kit that I supported in its Kickstarter project.
Then I re-tweeted a message from Oracle Press and won an e book about Minecraft programming from Oracle Press.
I bought a lottery ticket, just in case.
Come back tomorrow for my first day in San Francisco.
